What is Classic CheeseBurger?

A classic cheeseburger is a perfectly seasoned hamburger with fried ground beef shaped into a signature patty inside and topped with cheese, lettuce, tomato, onion, ketchup, etc. There is a lot of space for variation – it’s about personal choice and taste. You can try and add toppings of your choice.

Special tips to make Classic CheeseBurger Recipe

  1. You can apply the topping of your choice.
  2. You can combine some veggies in the burger instead of beef to make a vegetarian version of this recipe.
  3. You can also add caramelized onions in the topping. To make caramelized onions, shallow fry onions with some salt and pepper and saute it till golden brown. 
  4. If you are using grill then, grill your burger patties for about 3 minutes per side.

Step 1

Take a mixing bowl, and combine ground beef, egg, onion, bread crumbs, sauce, garlic, salt, and pepper in it. Blend this mixture well and divide the mixture into four portions equally. Form 4 patties of similar shape which should be approx 4 inches.

Take a pan and heat some oil or butter in it. Lay these burger patties on it and cook on both sides. It will take around 7 to 8 minutes total. Cook these patties properly on both sides until golden brown.

Add some cheese and cook until it melts properly. Place it in a sperate plate once done.

In the same pan lay buns with the cut side down and cook until lightly toasted. Also, put lettuce leaves in the pan until crisp for about 30 seconds.

Take buns and spread mayonnaise on it using a spoon. Add some tomato ketchup on the toasted side of the bun. Add crispy lettuce, tomato slices, burger patties, onion on it. Sprinkle some salt and pepper. Serve hot with ketchup or drink of your choice. Enjoy!

1 Egg Whisked
1/2 cup Minced 4 thin slices Onion
1/4 cup Bread Crumbs Dried
1 tbsp Soy sauce Worcestershire sauce or soy sauce
2 Peeled and Minced Garlic
1/2 teaspoon Salt
1/4 teaspoon Pepper pepper, ground
4 hamburger buns Hamburger split in half
1/4 Cup Mayonnaise
1/4 cup Tomato Ketchup
4 leaves Lettuce Rinsed, crisped
1 Thinly sliced Tomatoes
