1 Ibs Canned Black BeansRinsed & Drained
1 Green Bell PepperChopped
2 Cloves GarlicMinced
1 EggBeaten (optional)
1/2 Cup Breadcrumbs
1 Tbsp Chili Powder
1 tsp Cumin
As per taste Salt
1/2 tsp Black Pepper Powder
4 Hamburger Buns
4 Lettuce Leafs
4 Tomato slices

Black Bean Burger is made using fresh ingredients, and it is very healthy and quick to prepare. Special tips to make Black Bean Burger

Instructions To make the burger:
Add rinsed and drained black beans in a mixing bowl. If required, to remove extra moisture out of them, blot them a paper towel. Place it in a large bowl and mash it well.
Combine the bell pepper, garlic, onion in a grinding jar or blending jar and process it until finely minced.
Transfer this veggies mixture into a mesh strainer and remove excess liquid. After that add the strained veggies mixture to the bowl in which you transferred the black beans. Add chili powder, cumin powder, salt, and pepper. Mix it well. Now add the egg (beaten) and mix it well. Also, combine bread crumbs and stir them well. Form this mixture into 4 or 5 patties.
For Cooking Patties:
Take a pan and add some oil in it. Place these patties in the pan and shallow fry it for 5 minutes on each side until brown.
***You can also choose to grill it or bake it the oven.***
Once patties are cooked, also toast the cut side of burger in the pan to light brown.
For assembling burger:
Place the buns on a flat surface with the cut side up. On the bottom bun, put melted cheese, ketchup, tomato slices, burger patties. Spread some green garlic sauce on patties with grated cheese and top it with a lettuce leaf and green onions. Cover it with top bun and serve hot.
