Place the beef and bacon into a large bowl and add salt and crushed black pepper, flour, egg, onions, soy sauce in it. Gently mix it to combine, and then dust it lightly in the flour. Roughly divide it into six portions. Form these portions into 4 equal patties which should about the size of your burger buns.

Pre-eat the grill to medium heat and grill these patties for 5 minutes on each side until cooked thoroughly. You can also shallow fry these patties in a pan. For that take 2 tbsp of oil in a frying pan and add patties. Cook each for 5 minutes till brown. Place slices of cheese on the top of all the patties and allow it to melt. Keep it aside.

Place the cheese on the cut sides of top halves of the burger. Place it on a preheated grill or pan with the seasoned side down and let it cook for 2 minutes till a nice charred crust is developed on burgers.

Remove burgers from the grill, and serve with your desired toppings between two pieces of toasted buns.
